Tatra banka is the Bank of the Year again according to Trend magazine

Eleventh ceremony of awarding of annual prizes for extraordinary business results held on Tuesday, November 11 again represented a very significant milestone for Tatra banka. The bank repeated its last year's success and was again awarded the Bank of the Year 2008 prize. It was awarded based on high dynamics of growth with Tatra banka increasing its deposits and managed assets in funds again by a whole fifth, loans by even a third in the last year.

Igor Vida, general manager of Tatra banka and CEO was at the same time awarded the Manager of the Year 2008 prize by Trend. Unlike other categories where evaluation model considering economic results is decisive, the extraordinary manager was elected by the personalities from the field of Slovak economy from TREND barometer (weight of 50%) and TREND magazine readers (equally 50%).
Tatra banka thus confirmed its strong position on the market and good outlooks on its development.
