Today we launched the Beta version of our new Internet banking

The needs of clients are continually developing. People's time is becoming increasingly valuable, and so they expect to be able to resolve their daily banking as quickly and comfortably as possible also through their Internet banking. That is why we launched the development of totally new and modern applications.

What does the new Internet banking give you?

• logical orientation with the help of doublelevel menu (up and to the left),
• the option of entering multiple payment orders for processing with just one confirmation,
• swift entry of payment order from any part of Internet banking based on a template,
• a universal element, which lets users always find exactly what they need,
• dynamic work with tables (sorting, changing order of columns, key word search),
• visualisation of the drawing and settlement of credit account in the case of credit cards,
• graphic illustration of TAM mutual funds,
• graphic illustration of TAM portfolio,
• graphic illustration of supplementary pension savings DDS,
• other clear graphs and visualisation,
• but also intuitive control
• simple orientation
• and complete change of technological platforms.

Because just now it is only the Beta version, you won't find here the illustration of loans, term deposit accounts, invoices, Spending report^TB, Mobil banking and i:key. Until the new version is not completely identical to the current version of the Internet banking, both versions will operate simultaneously so that clients have enough time to get used to the new environment.

Top in Internet banking

• The first internet banking in Slovakia was prepared by Tatra banka in February 1998 with just a three-man team and in a record time of three weeks. This solution made it possible for clients to check the online balance and movements in their accounts and so gain access to their finances. A few months later it was complemented by b-mail and payment orders.
•  The second version of the Internet banking, which is in use till now, was developed by Tatra banka at the turn of 1999 - 2000.
•  In 2010 Tatra banka became the first bank in Slovakia to offer the native application Internet banking for iPhone entitled Tatra banka, which to the end of 2010 held a place in the TOP 50 most downloaded applications for the Slovak market with a rating of 4+ z 5.
•  During the 11 years of operation, this version of Internet banking gained Tatra banka 9 Global Finance awards in the category of Best Consumer Internet Bank in Slovakia, giving Tatra banka a strong competitive advantage.
•  From 1998 the number of transactions per day increased by more than a thousand times: Going from 50 - 80 in 1998 to 50 000 - 80 000 in 2011.
•  More than 1.25 million logins per month. Clients are particularly satisfied with the current version and they enjoy using it. This is proven by the fact that the majority of active clients of Internet banking log in to it several times a month.

To be able to launch the new Internet banking it is necessary to have a Flash player on your computer. This is an add-on to the internet browser, which according to statistics is in a version supported by the new Internet banking on almost 96% of computers of the Internet banking clients of Tatra banka. It is precisely this technology that allowed us to move control over Internet banking from a basic website to the comfortable level of an application.
