TATRA BANKA CITY MARATHON 2006

This name applies for a marvelous project - the historically first marathon organized in Bratislava on 31.3. to 2.4.2006, and Tatra banka, having for long supported sport and healthy life style, has become a general partner of the race. It is the only mass sports event with cultural and social character of its type in Slovakia. The ambition of the project is to create a tradition of Bratislava marathon in Central Europe. Although the event is held in the capital city, it offers participation to all people from other towns of Slovakia or foreign tourists. This event is interesting particularly because it offers an opportunity for all those who like running, for whom the organizers prepare several race courses: Marathon, Half-Marathon, Quarter-Marathon, Corporate Race, Children´s Race, Junior Challenge, In Line Race, and In Line Hobby Race, and fun for everyone, in the form of accompanying programs which offer various attractions for children and adults. It provides also space for informal meetings and enjoying your friends, family relatives, colleagues, and business partners. We believe that this historically first Bratislava Marathon will be successful and thus will start every year tradition in our city.
