Pohoda Festival
Tatra banka has been engaged in this prestigious and famous international music festival for already three years. In this year, it will celebrate the 10th jubilee, which will again offer a show of professional local and foreign artists. The organizers of the event try to bring new services not only relating to music, which would be appreciated by all visitors to the festival. One of the new services are those of a mobile bank branch, providing deposits, withdrawals, exchange, and certain elected Tatra banka banking services. Also in this year, the visitors to the festival may use the Tatra banka ATM services directly in the area of this excellent music event.
Jewels of the Czech and Slovak Modern Painting
In the beginning of this year, also with support of Tatra banka, the real jewels of the Czech and Slovak modern painting were exhibited, many of which were admired by visitors to the exhibitions of the Czech, Slovak, and European modern painting, as they were exhibited by renowned exhibition halls and galleries in westerns countries and overseas. The exhibitions showed a selection of the Czechoslovak modern art dated from the period of 1908 - 1945, which are of exquisite quality, but less popular. The exhibition contains paintings by famous Slovak and Czech painters, as e.g. E. Filla, A. Procházka, B. Kubišta, J. Čapek, V. Špála, J. Zrzavý, L. Fulla, A. Bazovský, M. Benka, C. Majerník, A. Nemeš, and J. Želibský.
Hello, Dolly! the Musical
The Nová Scéna Theatre is a popular and successful theatre which focuses particularly on musicals and crazy comedies. Tatra banka supported the projects of this theatre several times. In 2002, we supported realisation of the Birdcage musical, and one year later we were part of the famous Hair musical. In 2006, we got really interested in the Hello, Dolly! project, and therefore, the bank´s management decided to finance this project, which may be enjoyed by many Slovak spectators. It is a typical funny musical with witty dialogues and magnificent music. However, the witty dialogues mask the information on seeking and finding happiness in partnership.
"Reborn Dances" Festival
The "Reborn Dances" Festival is organized for the fifth time. It represents a combination of dancing genres (folklore dance, hip-hop, acrobatic show, ballet, etc.), thus giving this dancing show its new shape. This year´s festival has the character of multi-dancing laser show using the latest light and music technologies. Tatra banka continues in its long-term support of this project as a general partner of the festival also in 2006, because the festival has proved, during its five-year existence, that it is on high level and that it is still much interesting.
