EXECUTING PAYMENTS WITH LATER MATURITY DATE

Payment orders placed via Internet banking with maturity date later than the date of placement (with maturity date later than the current date in the system) are executed in early morning hours of the maturity date. When entering payment order with a later settlement date, you can choose an option of payment repetition due to insufficient funds in account on the given settlement date. If you select payment repetition due to insufficient funds, the system will try to execute the payment repeatedly in the arranged times in the course of the day upon the first unsuccessful attempt for payment execution due to the respective reason. The attempt for payment order repetition is executed on the settlement date in morning and afternoon hours. An unsuccessful attempt for payment execution is followed by a message sent to Inbox informing of temporary payment execution failure along with determination of the time of next attempt for payment execution. If insufficient coverage in account still lasts on the settlement date even with the last attempt for payment execution, the system will not execute the payment and repeatedly send a message of non-executed payment order (not information of temporary payment execution failure) to Inbox. In case the payment order is not executed due to other reasons than insufficient coverage in account, the option of payment repetition will not be effected. Payment order placed without the option of payment repetition will be executed just once - with no repetition.

On Sunday and holiday, the system works with the date of the next following banking business day, and due to this reason payments are realised also on such days with the due date according to the client´s instruction /Monday-Saturday, except for holidays/.

You should elect the authorization level, i.e. the way of signing-on the Internet Banking and also the way of confirmation of payments. Currently, we provide three ways of additional authentication in signing-on the Internet Banking:

  • PID
  • Password
  • Card and Reader - IAAP based on generating dynamic numerical code by using a chip payment card with a functional CAP/DPA application and a chip payment card reader
  • GRID card
  • SMS code
  • SecurID card
  • i:key

It is in the client´s discretion, which of the above options suits his criteria for user´s convenience and comfort. Tatra banka charges no fee for use of the SMS code.

Limits of payments in using IAAP /identification, authentication, and authorization tools / according to Art. VI(6) of the Commercial Terms and Conditions of Tatra banka, a.s. to the electronic banking .
The bank is entitled to disable IAAP after a specific number of failures to use it correctly.

  • no additional authorization of payment /limits of payments - transactions: 3 000 EUR/billing day and 30 000 EUR/month
  • additional authorization by the GRID card / limits of payments - transactions: 3 000 EUR/billing day and 30 000 EUR/month
  • additional authorization by the Card and Card Reader / limits of payments - transactions: 30 000 EUR/billing day and 300 000 EUR/month
  • additional authorization by the SecurID card / limits of payments - transactions: 30 000 EUR/billing day and 300 000 EUR/month
  • additional authorization by the i:key /no-limit payments/

Limits valid for entering of standing payment orders regardless of an adjusted additional authorization:

  • limit 3000 EUR/ date of the first payment along with an elected payment date

It is possible to define a standing payment order for a higher amount at any branch office of Tatra banka.

The limits of payments for the individual IAAP are combined, i.e. payments authorized by one IAAP are counted into the limit of payments of the remaining IAAP.

The above limits for authorization do not apply for transactions within the i:deal service and for transfers/deals within the accounts of a single client, whether a corporation or an individual, where transactions may be performed in an unlimited amount (e.g. transfers in favour of the i:deposit from the start/target account during the term of the i:deposit), such transactions are not counted in the daily/monthly limits.
