TatraPay is a Tatra banka product, thanks to which the clients may use the option to pay in virtual department stores via the Internet Banking.

For whom it is intended?
TatraPay is intended for two target user groups, i.e. for Tatra banka clients and for merchants - owners of virtual department stores in the Internet. It is used by Tatra banka clients for ordering goods via the Internet. On the other hand, it may be used by merchants for improving their services provided to the customers.

How does TatraPay work?

A Tatra banka client chooses an article in a virtual shop, fills-in all required information in the order form, and elects the method of payment by clicking the TatraPay icon.

It will be immediately routed to the Tatra banka Internet banking site. Upon subscription, the client will see on display an already filled payment order form. If the client has several accounts available, he may choose the one which from which the money will be remitted.

Then the client will only confirm the payment and the money from his account will be immediately remitted to the account of the virtual shop´s operator. Then, the client will be re-routed to the virtual department store´s site.

What are the benefits of the TatraPay product?

First of all, it is expedient and simple. A Tatra banka client using the active Internet banking has the option to use the TatraPay. Immediately upon placing an order, they money from his account are remitted to the merchant´s account. It means avoidance of the cash-on-delivery, which is appreciated not only by merchants but also by potential customers. They needn´t have any cash on, which is both an important psychologic factor and an advantage.

Process of implementation of TatraPay:

1. A contract is concluded with the operator of the internet department store
2. The merchant receives the technical conditions and parameters for setting its system
3. The department store´s webmaster will prepare the system
4. Then follows the testing cycle
5. Starting the operation of TatraPay on the department store´s site
