Security Precautions in Using TatraPay Service
In payment in virtual shops via the TatraPay service, you should observe several simple security precautions:
1. Make sure whether the shop is certified by Tatra banka, see the list of approved shops.
2. Make sure that the URL address of the TatraPay site begins with https://moja.tatrabanka.sk.
3. Check that the communication is carried via the security channel (SSL) and the certificate applies for moja.tatrabanka.sk. See the procedure in verification of certificate in the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.
4. Upon subscription, make sure whether the list contains all accounts from which you may place payment orders in the Internet Banking.
5. After making your payment, you may check in the Internet Banking whether the transaction was realised.
6. Activate the B-mail service and you will be immediately informed about debits and credits on your account in the form of short SMS messages or e-mail. You may do so in the Internet Banking or call the Dialog service.
In the event that any of the above features is amiss, do not enter your PID and password, and contact us! If you have already entered your password, change it immediately in the Internet Banking!
