Verification of Certificate

When a demand for the page is sent by your browser via SSL, this warning will appear. If not, then you had sometimes in the past indicated the option "In the future do no show this warning"


If the following window appears, there´s something amiss and your browser is trying to connect via SSL to a server which has not a valid certificate. Always press No!


Upon starting by pressing the Start key, the internet banking subscription page should look approximately as follows:


Note the following security features in the browser (marked by red colour), Padlock on the bottom line must be locked and the protocol used in the URL address must include HTTPS. This means that you communicate via a safe and secure protocol and the communication is encoded by the SSL.

Upon double click on the symbol you may obtain important information on the identity of the server to which you are connected. You should see the following information on the certificate of the Tatra banka server, issued by a generally known certification authority, the firm VeriSign. You should always verify this certificate to be certain that you are connected to the correct server. Otherwise, do not use this application.
