Certificat renewal
Certificate issued to the product Internet banking for entrepreneurs - I:KEY, is valid for one year.
Before certificate renewal it is necessary to import new root certificates to your chip card.
- Download the root certificates from our web site www.tatrabanka.sk/pki
(click on the right-hand section Nove root certifikaty DTCA/ICA). Save the certificates to your hard drive.
- Open the program ComfortChip and import the root certificates to your chip card using the menu Import - Certifikaty CA.
- In ComfortChip click on the new root certificate and then the button "Zaregistrovať do Windows" in the right-hand side of the screen. Follow the process for both standard and qualified root certificates.
In order to install necessary libraries, please download the file install_dll from our web sitewww.tatrabanka.sk/pki
(section Aktualne verzie aplikacii) and double-click to install.
Now you can renew your personal certificate:
- 1. Sign in into your Internet banking and in "I:KEY" fill in and send the "Protocol of handing in an i:key application form", whereby you apply for new certificate issuance.
- 2. The certification authority shall issue a certificate for you (on workdays from 8:00 - 17:00 hours) in two hours time from certification issuance application submission. It is necessary to log in into your Internet banking after expiration of this period.
- 3. "i:key generation and delivery protocol" appears after successful registration.
- 4. Press the button "Send", afterwards download of certificate to your chip card follows.
- 5. Following its download to a card open the program ComfortChip, find the certificate bearing your name, surname and date of last issue in Užívateľské úložiská. Click on it and on the right side of the screen go to the button "Zaregistrovať do Windows".

- 6. Go to your Internet banking after certificate registration and send the form in the part "i:key -> i:key authentication".
You can use the Internet banking for entrepreneurs of TB again after successful certificate verification.
