What is the GRID card?
It is a light small security card which you may easily put in your wallet together with the other cash cards (having the same form and size). The GRID card is not transferable and contains codes which allow safe and secure communication with Tatra banka. The GRID card does not contain any data which might identify you or your accounts by unauthorized persons. If lost, it cannot be used without the secret password.
How can we identify you?
If you call the DIALOG service, our operator will ask you to give the serial number of your security GRID card and the secret password which is known only to your bank and you. In performing the operations, you will be required to give a random chosen code which is in your GRID card.
When is the DIALOG available?
DIALOG is here for you every day non-stop 24 hours a day, including weekends and public holidays.
You may place your payment orders during all business hours of the DIALOG service, except for a short technical break:
Monday - Saturday between approx. 9:45 pm and 10:30 pm
Intrabank payments within Tatra banka may be realised:
Monday - Saturday non-stop, after 9:00 pm, intrabank payment orders may be processed with the date of the next following business daySunday non-stop, however they are processed with the date of the next following business day.
Interbank payments (payment to all banks of the Slovak Republic, other than Tatra banka) may be realised:
Monday - Friday non-stop, after 9:00 pm, interbank payment orders may be processed with the date of the next following business day
Saturday - Sunday non-stop, however they are processed with the date of the next following business day
Can´t you place a payment order on the due date?
Via the DIALOG service, you may place any payments orders (the so-called forwards) maximum 30 days prior to the due date.
Who may apply for the DIALOG service?
The account holder, authorized signatory or any third person may apply for the DIALOG service.
If the application is properly filled, the bank shall send to the client´s branch, within 3 business days, the authorization tools (GRID card, PID) where they will be delivered to the client.
Who may sign the ECM contract?
Individual - solely the account holder
Legal entity - the persons authorized to act on behalf of the entity
What types of accounts may be bound to the GRID card?
To the current account:
Current account in EUR - DIALOG - active form, passive form
Current account in foreign currency - DIALOG - active form (solely within Tatra banka), passive form
No other accounts (term deposit accounts, passbooks) may have the GRID card.
What you need to do to use the DIALOG service?
You may order the DIALOG service right now:
- by phone via DIALOG,
- via the internet,
- in your branch.
You should fill-in the Application for provision of service via the electronic media. When your application is filled in a correct way, we will deliver your GRID card within 3 days to your Tatra banka branch, where it you may obtain it.
