Standard Term Deposits in EUR and in Foreign Currency

• 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 and 36 month term deposit
• the term deposit may be opened in the following foreign currencies: USD, CHF, GBP, CZK

In accordance with the provision of § 122 of the Law No. 483/2001 Coll., the term deposit accounts in those foreign currencies which shall cease as of January 1, 2002 and shall be replaced by the EUR currency, shall be converted to the EUR currency with effect from January 1, 2002.

Benefits:

• opening by a cash deposit or transfer from a client´s current account maintained with Tatra banka
• the option of automatic renewal and one pre-withdrawal
• the option of make deposits (the so-called subsidiary deposits) also during the term of the account, i.e. on any date other than the date of renewal, in any branch of the bank
• withdrawal of the principal and interests in cash or by transfer to an account with Tatra banka as of the maturity date
• the option to obtain bank statements in person or sent by mail to an address identified by the client
• disposal with the account according to the specimen signatures determined by the client

Interests:

• subject to the amount and duration of the deposit, the interests shall be credited on the maturity date
• the interests may be credited to any other account according to the client´s instruction or in favour of the principal of the term deposit on the maturity date
• the account shall bear interests separately for each basic and subsidiary deposit, in the interest rate determined according to the contractual terms; the interest rate applicable on the date of accounting the deposit and on the date of renewal shall not be modified during the contractually agreed period
• the interest rates are updated on weekly basis and the information thereon are available in each Tatra banka´s branch and agency or on web pages
• possible individual interest rate subject to the amount and duration of the deposit

Fees:
in the event of pre-withdrawal, as set forth in the tariff of fees

Agreement on Term Deposit with fixed period of 36 months can be concluded only at Tatra banka branches.
