New mutual fund for Private Banking clients
Tatra Asset Management, the largest mutual fund manager in Slovakia, has extended the offer to include another mutual fund that invests within the master/feeder structure. The fund was created exclusively for Tatra banka's Private Banking clients.
At the beginning of June 2013, Tatra Asset Management launched the first Slovak mutual fund investing within the master/feeder structure, the TAM-Raiffeisen European High Yield Fund. This new approach was facilitated by the UCITS IV Directive regulating the terms of collective investment in Europe. Since its launch, the fund has raised an enormous interest of investors, which was also confirmed by the Bestselling Mutual Fund award in the category of Other Funds in the TOP Fund Slovakia 2013. Another solution in this category was the mutual fund TAM-Raiffeisen Emerging Markets Bonds, which was launched this May. Investments in this fund have exceeded € 47 million in less than half a year.
Tatra Asset Management has extended its offer to include another mutual fund investing within the master/feeder structure, called TAM-Raiffeisen Eastern Europe Bonds (feeder). The fund will invest 85 to 100 percent of its assets in the master Raiffeisen Osteuropa Rent, a foreign mutual fund. The manager of the master is Raiffeisen Capital Management, the largest Austrian manager of mutual funds.
In addition to a sophisticated investment strategy of the foreign master fund, clients who invest in the feeder fund thus also benefit from a domestic fund solution. This means that the fund is subject to a simpler system of recording and taxation compared to foreign mutual funds.
TAM-Raiffeisen Eastern Europe Bonds provides an opportunity to participate in interesting yields of Central and Eastern European countries. In terms of risk diversification, an investment in the fund is a more suitable solution than the purchase of individual bonds of Central and Eastern European countries. The fund represents an interesting solution for clients seeking higher return in a long-term horizon. It may also attract clients looking for the source of a regular income, because it will pay a share of the return once a year.
