Silver awards from EFFIE have the value of gold for us
Tatra banka's Rytmus's Finance Academy campaign wins two silver awards at EFFIE Slovakia 2013. In terms of the campaign's impact on sales, it has the value of gold for Tatra banka.
In the competition of effectiveness in marketing communication, EFFIE Slovakia 2013, Rytmus's Finance Academy (RFA) campaign by Zaraguza Digital won two silver awards.
Tatra banka launched the campaign this spring with the aim of generating more interest in the Tatra PersonalTB service package for students. But the task was even more ambitious. The aim was to teach students to know about finances and be able to manage them. An unusual, entertaining and educational concept was chosen for this difficult target group. The main character became Patrik Vrbovský alias Rytmus, as the least expected teacher, who is an online celebrity with the greatest potential to address teenagers.
It did not take long to start seeing target group reactions. More than ten thousand people showed interest in the RFA when only the teaser was launched. After unveiling the Academy, more than 50,000 students participated with over half of them completing all thirty questions. This shows in-terest in both the financial topic and its creative execution. Moreover, tatraacademy.sk has hun-dreds of thousands of unique visitors. The effectiveness of the campaign was not only demon-strated in the number of website visitors or the number of video viewings.
"Sales results were excellent with the targets exceeded even before the campaign was over. The campaign has thus become Tatra banka's most successful online campaign ever. This is the rea-son why two silver awards from EFFIE have the value of gold for us.
