Small and medium-sized enterprises may implement energy projects until the end of 2015
| 28.07.2015
The European Union has given small and medium-sized enterprises a unique opportunity to continue with the implementation of their energy projects until the end of 2015. According to the original requirements of the European Commission, projects that applied for a non-refundable grant under the Green Initiative program were to be completed by the end of 30 June 2015.
Energy projects can apply for the grant through a loan provided by Tatra banka from the European Investment Bank (EIB) funds for energy-saving investment plans.
For example clients implementing projects in the following fields can apply for the grant:
- thermal insulation
- increasing energy efficiency in industry
- reconstructions of heating systems, etc.
The requirement is to achieve energy saving of:
- 30% in the building sector
- 20% in CO2 emissions saving
- 20% on other projects
After fulfilling the requirements, it is possible to get a non-refundable grant of 14 percent of eligible project costs with the funds subsequently used as a loan instalment.
Small and medium-sized companies as well as flat owners can apply for the loan from the European Investment Bank funds that includes a Green Initiative grant at any of the Tatra banka's corporate centers.
