Tatra banka offers € 20 million in loans to small and medium-sized enterprises at more favorable conditions
Tatra banka offers another business development loan program thanks to its cooperation with the Slovenský záručný a rozvojový fond SZRF (Slovak Guarantee and Development Fund).
This year, Tatra banka continues the set trend to support small and medium-sized enterprises, adding the second program under the JEREMIE initiative (Portfolio Risk Sharing Loan) to its product portfolio alongside the existing program implemented in 2013 under the JEREMIE initiative (favorable loans with a SZRF guarantee, First Loss Portfolio Guarantee).
On February 26, 2016, Tatra banka signed a contract with the Slovenský záručný a rozvojový fond (SZRF) under which small and medium-sized enterprises can get loans of up to € 20 million at favorable conditions until October 2016. Seventy percent of these funds (€ 14 million) will be provided by the SZRF, the remaining thirty percent are contributed by Tatra banka. With this structure, clients will get a lower interest rate. At the same time, the SZRF assumes part of the credit risk, which allows Tatra banka to offer more favorable funding conditions in terms of loan security.
New loans (both instalment and overdraft) are designed for small and medium-sized enterprises:
- based in Slovakia,
- with up to 250 employees,
- with annual turnover up to € 50 million,
- with balance sheet total up to € 43 million,
- funded investment/establishment must be based in Slovakia, outside the districts of Bratislava, Malacky, Senec and Pezinok,
- maximum loan amount is € 1.0 million, with up to 10-year maturity period.
The program is supported under the Competitiveness and Economic Growth Operational Program co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund and the Slovak state budget under the JEREMIE initiative.
