Transition of ZUNO Bank Clients Successfully Completed
On 2 June 2017, Zuno Bank ended its activities on the Slovak banking market and Tatra banka, which belongs to the Raiffeisen Bank International AG Group together with ZUNO Bank, became the successor bank.
In early October 2016 the RBI Group announced consolidation of its business operations within the Group and termination of ZUNO Bank’s activities on the Slovak and Czech markets. ZUNO’s banking activities carried out in Slovakia were transferred to Tatra banka. The project was successfully completed on 2 June 2017, when all the rights and obligations related to banking products were transferred from ZUNO to Tatra banka. Balances from the cancelled current accounts and integrated clients with existing loan products were also transferred to Tatra banka.
Loan products were transferred to Tatra banka under the same conditions as those agreed in ZUNO. The amount of regular monthly instalments, due dates of monthly instalments, interest rates, amount of monthly insurance payments, due dates for the last instalment and “Pôžička Plus” charge remain the same for clients.
A significant number of ZUNO clients accepted an offer made by Tatra banka and opened an account with Tatra banka and started using its innovative banking. “We are pleased that ZUNO Bank clients are happy with our services and find our product offer attractive. Tatra banka is already the main bank for most of these clients,” said Peter Matúš, Member of the Management Board of Tatra banka responsible for retail banking.
Clients who did not manage to transfer funds from their accounts with ZUNO in time will not lose their savings. Balances from their cancelled current accounts were transferred to Tatra banka. These clients just need to contact the DIALOG Live call center or visit any Tatra banka branch. If they opt to visit any of our branches, they will only need their ID card.
