Through this figure, he achieves abstraction.

Rudolf Sikora is one of Slovakia’s most famous contemporary artists. Since the 1970s, he was one of the first artists in Czechoslovakia and Europe to highlight the world’s ecological threats. And he also devoted himself to cosmology. His art expresses typical symbols (star, arrow, cross) through which he visualizes the cycle and energy of life, such as the Sústredenie energie – Čierna diera (Energy Focus – Black Hole) cycle. His current artwork critically highlights the link between politics and ecology.
