Environmental management system certification
Since 2021, Tatra banka has followed the internationally recognized ISO 14001:2015 standard for environmental management systems.
ISO 14001:2015 helps the bank effectively manage and minimize its environmental impact.
In practice, this includes improving energy efficiency, reducing waste, increasing the proportion of waste sorted for recycling, and improving overall resource efficiency. Every three years, an accredited certification body conducts a recertification audit at Tatra banka. They also conduct annual surveillance audits to verify ongoing compliance with environmental obligations and assess conformity with the standard.
