Tatra banka launches the second edition of the RBI FinTech Scouts Program

Tatra banka, in cooperation with Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), is building on the success of the first year of the RBI FinTech Scouts Program. Its second edition includes the participation of five renowned experts from around the world. The goal of the program is to bring the latest trends from leading global fintech hubs that are shaping the future of financial services into Tatra banka.

The program continues in 2026

In the first edition of the RBI FinTech Scouts Program, four “scouts” delivered numerous valuable insights to Tatra banka across artificial intelligence, digital assets, embedded finance and sustainable technologies. Tatra banka is gradually transforming these insights into innovative solutions, prototypes, and new partnerships with startups.

Together with RBI, it is building on last year’s success, and in 2026 the program features five renowned experts from the USA, Europe, and Asia.

This year, Tatra banka collaborates in the RBI FinTech Scouts Program with:

• Scarlett Sieber - Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Money 20/20 (New York, USA), bestselling author of Embedded Finance: When Payments Become an Experience. A recognized expert in embedded finance, advisor to NASA, and former Vice President at USAA. Scarlett also led digital transformation at Opus Bank and contributed to innovation strategies at BBVA.

• Aditi Subbarao - Enterprise Sales, Financial Services at Snowflake, former banker and fintech evangelist focused on artificial intelligence.

• Veljko Vasic - Founder and CEO of fintech venture studio OTLRS (Singapore), with over 15 years of experience in global fintech and payments projects.

• Kenneth Thomas - Principal at BackFuture (London, UK), investor and podcast host with experience in bringing fintech products to market.

• Nnanna Ijezie - Virtual Credit Cards Product Manager at Booking.com (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), an expert in payment innovation.

In 2026, the experts will remain active in major global fintech hubs and will personally present their insights at the CEE Roadshow, including a stop in Bratislava. Last year’s scouts continue their involvement through the newly created Alumni Program. Its purpose is to unite experts in a single community that shares knowledge faster and supports further innovation activities. In this way, Tatra Banka, a subsidiary of RBI, thus contributes to building a strong global fintech community.
